First of all, in any business, You must get Referrals. I would not be where I am at today if it had not been for my referrals through my networking. That is how I became an independent distributor for SeneGence International®.
What are referrals?
  • Introductions that lead to a potential customer or to a transactionLaughing
  • Recommendations from a credible source, such as someone who knows your business and has trust in you
  • Low cost, word-of-mouth marketing, that is why you should always network. It makes you visible to the public FREE
  • They will usually turn to instant business
  • You will also most likely, be meeting someone else’s needs
Top 5 Tips for Giving Great Leads
  1. Listen closely to hear the problem then hopefully you can provide them with a solution
  2. Give permission to use your name as the person who offered you the referral
  3. Always remember Quality vs. Quantity. It is not always good to sell a lot of products to one person once. You want them to tell others and keep ordering from you. SeneGence® products have the best quality on the market today for skincare solutions.
  4. Provide as much info as possible, ie. reasons behind product, ingredients, contact info, best time to call, etc.
  5. indicate to yourself if its a Hot lead that needs immediate action. Follow up right away. Send out a card, telling them it was nice to meet them, or that so and so referred you to them.
HOW TO STAY ON TOP OF YOUR CONTACT!

  • Organize your business cards accurately, instead of throwing them in a box, as we all have done,
  • If you can, make them digital
  • Monitor all your referrals given and follow up with the results of those you receive
  • Stay connected with them by sending out friendly e-mails., remember special dates,etc
  • Filing system for marketing materials you obtain. With SeneGence®, we receive all sorts of marketing materials to show to potential customers. We have color profile sheets telling us which eye shadow, blushes, etc. to use to get the affect they are wanting.
Working the Room at an Event
  • Set your intention of how many people you would like to meet before you attend. Always set goals.
  • connect with someone who is alone, you will be their first impression.
  • Say hello to people you know, but do not stay with them for long, meet new people.
  • Objective - ask for everyone’s card to follow-up with them. This makes another impression on that person.
  • Look for the “Connector” in the room. We go WOWING alot. By applying LipSense® on the back of our hand. When someone tries to rub it off and it does not come off, they immediately go WOW’! and the conversation goes from that point.
  • Spend only a few minutes with each person, but make sure while you are introducing yourself, you pay full attention to just that person and be engaged in the conversation
  • Always have plenty of business cards with you and keep a “Stash” in the car!

    • F - family - ask them general family questions
    • O - occupation - where do they work r what do they do
    • R - recreation - what do they do for fun, hobbies, etc
    • M - Money - in general, do they have financial goals, etc
