It is always nice to go home to your home town and visit with family and friends.  It was an action packed 4 days.  Had an 80th birthday party of a parent to a great old friend from high school.  Then went to Jonesboro, Arkansas with 3 gals to spend the night and catch up for a school reunion.  On Saturday we had a family reunion during lunch and early afternoon, then that evening was my school reunion.  My home town, Marked Tree, Arkansas is so small, we have an annual reunion every year at the same time.  This was our 9th year and we had almost 300 people show up.  It is always fun to see how people have changed and who has not changed.  It is so embarrasing when you can’t recognize someone.  I just say I am having a senior moment!  Afterall, it has been 36 years since I graduated.  I feel I am entitled to those moments.  Then on Sunday, we entertained family from out of town for the family reunion.  I met cousins that I haven’t seen in 35 years!!!  Then on Monday, it was go, go, go again.  Went to Sam’s Club to purchase a TV for my parents who don’t have cable so that I could set it up for them with the converter box.  Then went to Memphis to visit a sick aunt and cousins.  After that, we met some old friends and had dinner on Beale Street at Alfreds.  Then back to St. Louis on Tuesday.  As hectic as it was, I always will enjoy the good times we had and will be looking forward to next year.
